EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Had 1:1 training in 1990s in flower arranging. Used to compete in NAFAS competitions in 1990s/early 00s, was going to train as national demonstrator but music took over. I’ve come back to flowers in last couple of years, but floristry this time. My brother's wedding (a big wedding where I did all the venue flowers - pedestals, numerous large table centres, wreaths etc) was the catalyst.
Have freelanced for Emma Spowage (Passion flowers) on a couple of weddings this year (2018). Started my own part time floristry business (events) from home in May 2018. Had 3 weddings this year (since May), and run 7 workshops (pedestals/wreaths). Also collaborated on 3 very different wedding shoots.
PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK
Wedding (particularly venue flowers), flower crowns/wiring work.
