A BIT ABOUT ME

My hobbies other than taking part in floral journalism, is being a member of a ballroom and latin dance society where I compete at competitions around the UK. I also have a strong passion for all things nature so I take part in my local gardening club.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Achieved a Level 2 City & Guilds Technical Certificate in Floristry at Capel Manor College in 2024

Two years of experience working at a Florist's in Brixton including the busiest seasons such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the Christmas Season
Worked freelance at Hampton Court Flower Show 2025 where I helped to create the floral display for one of the stalls
I take part in independent freelance work; I receive personal orders from individual customer and orders for special events
I have created table arrangements for events such as an awards ceremony at Lambeth Town Hall and a ballroom society's spring ball

Intermediate - 2 years

PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK

My preferred floristry work would be for events involving large scale designs however I am open to any kind of work as I believe a range would help my floristry skills develop even more.
