A BIT ABOUT ME

I love to spend my free time playing with flowers, gardening, baking and finding inspo on Pinterest. I also love staying active with walks in the countryside with my little dog, yoga and horse riding.

My favourite flower… Too hard to choose! Some of my favourites are peony, tulip and cosmos.

I have also booked onto a Wedding Floristry course at Tallulah Rose Flower School in August 2020 and will be beginning my Level 3 Floristry course in September.

II began my career working in events, organising product launches and press shows for well-known health, beauty and fashion brands. Working as an Event Producer, I interpreted briefs from clients and came up with creative ideas for events. This often involved creating floristry briefs for events, which ignited my love and interest in floral design.

I decided to take a career change in June 2019 and began freelance work on weddings over the summer, before beginning my Level 2 Floristry course in September. Since then I have been continuing with my freelance work whilst working part time in a florist shop. My florist shop work has involved creating bouquets for customers, assisting with the design of window and shop displays, and prepping for weddings. My work as a freelancer has mostly involved wedding and events work, creating anything from dainty buttonholes to large-scale hanging ladder installations.
