The Sultanate of Oman is in the Middle East, situated on the southeastern end of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders the United Arab Emirates in the northwest and Saudi Arabia in the west.

JOB SPECIFICS

Established floral boutique based in the iconic Sabco center in Muscat. Having built a reputation for producing stunning inspirational floral designs with a passion for contemporary floristry our team of professionals are dedicated to ensuring the complete satisfaction of our clients.

We are looking for an experienced Florist Manager to join the team. Your role will be to manage and lead the team with an operational, financial and people view .The ideal candidate will have a passion for everything floral along with excellent customer service skills, a positive & professional attitude with experience of running a team of florists not only for the retail store but also weddings, events and hotel work. Our shop is the ‘window’ of our brand, so we are seeking someone who is quality focused and will drive continuous operational improvement and customer innovation along with being a strong communicator. You will be expected not only to manage and build the business but also be hands on to create beautiful floral arrangements for a variety of occasions withyour team of florists. Excellent people skills with a willingness to learn in a different country are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and support to the shop colleagues nurturing a strong people culture.

  • Ordering and reporting on stock levels and maintaining good stock levels for business.

  • Be customer centric by ensuring shop is well merchandised, stocked promoting the brand.

  • Ensure the shop and colleagues continually represent the brand through high personal standards and customer interaction.

  • Look after the marketing on all social media platforms.

  • Promote the business with hotel and business & events managers

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I have been working and living in Oman for the last 20 years, initially going out there on a two year contract I ended up falling in love with the country and its people, resulting in why I stayed for so long. 

I have recently relocated back to the UK for family reasons but I am still heavily involved in the business so will be on hand with the new manager to help and advise on a smooth handover and oversee the operations.


RATE OF PAY

The starting salary is approx  £2,000 per month (all depending on experience) Tax Free with additional benefits :
