I have had over 3 years hands on experience in a distinguished local florists, where I have cultivated my skills in Floristry and customer services. I thoroughly enjoy bringing a clients vision to life with floral arrangements for a wide range of occasions including funerals, weddings and celebrations.
I have also gained valuable floristry experience from my time studying at the Boerma Instituut in Holland. The intensive training there broadened my skill set and deepened my understanding of bloom preservation. I had the opportunity there to shadow Gregor Lersch, which was fascinating as I got to see first hand international design techniques.
I went on to be a successful participant in the Theo Boerma Cup floral competition September 2024.

PREFERRED TYPE OF FLORISTRY WORK

Whilst I enjoy all varieties of floristry work I find funeral work particularly fulfilling to do, working closely with clients during a difficult time to create unique arrangements to capture and memorialise their loved ones will always be a special part of floristry for me.
