A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Jen! I am 33 years old and have been in the floral industry for 4 years. I was born in Lancashire and went travelling to Australia in 2016 where i met my now Husband. My 20s consisted of travelling to numerous countries and living and working in Australia for an extended amount of time. Outside of floristry, i love being creative! I have sung and gigged for the past 15 years so its always been my second love and side hustle. I love to travel and have a long list of places still left to see. I enjoy cooking, yoga and socialising with friends over food!

Favourite flower… I love Dahlias, but I also feel like Carnations are too underrated and I love them for that.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

I am a wedding and event florist from Lancashire. My floristry journey started 4 years ago whilst living in Australia! Starting in retail before I started freelancing for other wedding florists and thats where i fell in love with creating large scale events! The floral design, creativity, tight deadlines, logistics and large teams are something I love being a part of.

I am not a city and guilds florist but I am a longtime creative with a passion for flowers. I have done 1:1 workshops with some great Australian florists and had the opportunity to freelance for some amazing florists both in the UK and Australia. As I am continuinally learning I plan to do some more 1:1 workshops and mentoring sessions throughout the year.
