JOB ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Florist Manager to join the team.

Your role will be to manage and lead the team with an operational, financial and people-focused view. The ideal candidate will have a passion for everything floral along with excellent customer service skills, a positive and professional attitude, and experience of running a team of florists not only for the retail store but also weddings, VIP events and contract hotel work.

Our shop is the ‘window’ of our brand, so we are seeking someone who is quality-focused and will drive continuous operational improvement and customer innovation, while being a strong communicator in a competitive market.

You will be expected not only to manage and build the business but also be hands-on, creating beautiful floral arrangements for a variety of occasions with your team of florists. Excellent people skills, along with a willingness to work in a different country, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and creating floral arrangements for various occasions (weddings, events, hotel contract & retail)

• Understanding the client’s needs, assisting them with floral selections and recommendations

• Managing stock, ordering supplies, handling deliveries

• Maintaining freshness and quality of flowers and plants, along with managing and reducing wastage

• Providing leadership, support and guidance to the team

• Organising staff shifts, holidays and all administration

• Ensuring the shop and staff continually represent the brand through high personal standards and customer interaction

• Managing marketing activity, enhancing in-store and online customer experience, and strengthening customer retention

• Maintaining client confidentiality and protocols at all times

• Increasing sales and revenue streams

• Improving brand positioning and visibility

• Engaging with hotels and event companies

Key Requirements :

Essential Skills & Experience: At least three years’ experience managing a retail florist or floral design business.

Qualification in Floristry.

Strong creativity and attention to detail.

Good customer service and communication skills.

Business and retail experience.

Experience with events, weddings and hotel floral design.

Driver’s licence.

Ability to relocate overseas.

RATE OF PAY/SALARY

Salary range is £2,500 a month, Tax Free.

The Full package also includes:

Housing (one bedroom furnished apartment)

Utility bills allowance, company car + fuel expenses

Visa arranged by the company with all expenses paid by them

Flight ticket paid to relocate along with an annual flight ticket home (after completing one year)

Full Medical insurance along with life insurance

Annual bonus after the annual audit completed based on performance

End of term benefits as per the Oman law regulations

30 days holiday along with all public holidays

This is based on a two year single status contract, with a three month probation period.
