A little about me…


I’m Kerry, I’m a florist, entrepreneur, and mentor with a lifelong passion for creativity. My career began in interiors, a field that still inspires me today, but it wasn’t long before I followed my heart into floristry. Over 15 years ago, I started my own floral business from the ground up, turning it into something I truly loved and felt proud of. I managed everything from weddings and corporate events to retail spaces, workshops, and leading a team I cherished—I did it all.

However, with growth came challenges. I faced burnout, became a mum without the benefit of maternity leave, and learned firsthand what it feels like when your business controls you instead of the other way around. Those experiences taught me the importance of alignment, sustainability, and vision in business.

In 2019, I launched The Freelance Florist, a platform designed to connect florists and help them strengthen their teams. Today, my mission is clear: to empower florists and creatives to evolve, build strong connections, and thrive, without sacrificing the joy that initially drew them to their craft.

As a visionary at heart, I’m always looking to the future, planning the bigger picture, and helping others do the same. Through one-on-one mentorship, I share my experiences, lessons, and strategies to support florists in creating sustainable, aligned, and fulfilling businesses.

A 1 hr Onboarding Session 

In this call I will get to know you; your worries; your business; your goals and we will be able to hone in on the problem areas that we can work on together - whether this is a singular point of focus or more broadly about business progression as a whole.  You’ll be able to see exactly how our time together will transform your business and you’ll also feel the belief that those big business dreams you have on the vision board are TOTALLY possible.

Five 1hr 1:1 Mentoring Sessions

We’ll have five sessions together to move through my 5 Step Success Framework for Floral Entrepreneurs. The framework gives us structure to work to ensure that our work together is transformative and impactful but is flexible enough to ensure that every session is all about YOU; your business, your struggles, your dreams. As someone who has walked the path before, knows the industry inside and out and has supported many freelancers and entrepreneurs in this industry we love, I am ready to be your mentor, guide and cheerleader.    

Mentoring Direct Line

You’ll have a direct line to me via email between sessions. This is wrap around, supportive mentoring that doesn’t let disconnect grow between sessions; that doesn’t leave room for wobbles.  If you have a question; want some mindset support; need accountability or need a kick to action (that will be delivered with kindness) hop on that direct line and stay connected.

Resource Hub

When we kick off our mentoring together, I will set up a personal hub for follow-up materials, programme resources, exercises and session recordings.  This will be on Google Drive for us both to use as we work through my 5 Step Success Framework together.

  • Before committing, we’ll have a friendly discovery call to chat about your business, your goals, and what you hope to achieve. This ensures it’s a good match for both of us.

  • This is fully personalised 1:1 support – not a generic course. Every session is tailored to you, your business, and where you are right now. We work on practical, actionable steps that create real results and long-term transformation.

  • It looks different for each mentee but I advise clients to, where possible, ringfence 1-2 hours a week to implement the strategy and plans we work through.  

    The more you’re able to put into this process, the more transformational the result will be.

  • I use Zoom so our calls will take place on zoom. Recordings will then be shared with you via google drive.

  • Yes, absolutely. My work with any client or wider group member is of course always confidential. Building trust and a safe space with any client, mentee etc is of utmost importance to me and I therefore hugely value confidentiality.

  • Life happens! If you need to reschedule a session or need additional guidance, we’ll work together to make sure you stay on track and get the most out of your mentorship.

  • Absolutely! Many florists start this programme unsure of exactly what they need. Together, we’ll clarify your priorities and create a plan that addresses the areas that will make the biggest impact.
